Corporate Governance

Corporate governance refers to the set of principles and rules governing the functioning of the governing bodies of the Company.

Sareb meets the specific requirements of corporate governance required by law; hence it has a professional Board of Directors with the specific experience, in order to correctly perform their duties. Sareb's Board of Directors is comprised of 15 directors, five of which are independent; eight are proprietary (representing the company's main shareholders) and two executive directors.

Within the Board of Directors two committees have been created: the Audit Committee and the Appointments and Remuneration Committee. In addition to the aforementioned, the company also has support committees (Management, Risk, Investments and Assets and Liabilities) the main role of which is to assist the Board of Directors.
